The Mobridge-Pollock School Board welcomes Mr. Stephen Vigliotti to the Mobridge-Pollock School District. Mr. Vigliotti was selected as the new superintendent of the Mobridge-Pollock School District on April 10, 2025. Mr. Vigliotti is presently the superintendent of the Howard School District and previously worked as a school administrator in northern New York.
Mr. Vigliotti shared the following:
My name is Stephen Vigliotti and the Mobridge-Pollock board of education and staff selected me as the new superintendent of schools commencing July 1, 2025. For the past 3 decades I have worked as a teacher, coach, principal and superintendent in rural schools in northern New York (about 20 miles from Canada and on the St. Lawrence River). For the past year, I have worked as the superintendent of the Howard School District in Howard, South Dakota.
Congratulations to the class of 2025 and thank you to the faculty, staff and school community for supporting them during their amazing journeys. It is with great anticipation and excitement that I look forward to working with the staff and community serving the students of the district.
Have a safe and enjoyable summer break, and I look forward to meeting all of you soon.

We will be having a pep rally and send-off for the girl's and boy's basketball teams as the boys play Lennox at Huron on Tuesday, March 11th at 5:30 pm, and the girls travel to the State A Tourney in Spearfish on Thursday, March 13th where they play Hamlin at 1:45 MT. The pep rally will begin at 11:30 am in the high school gym on Tuesday. The public is invited.

Mobridge-Pollock Schools will be closed on March 13th and 14th. The GBB team will play in Spearfish at the State A Tournament against Hamlin at 1:45 MT on March 13th. We hope to have a spirited group of fans in Spearfish to cheer on the Lady Tigers.

Congratulations to the Mobridge-Pollock Boys Basketball team in advancing to the Sodak 16 with a 66-54 win last night against Stanley County. Mobridge-Pollock will play Lennox on Tuesday, March 11th at 5:30 pm in the Huron Arena to advance to State.
