Lady Tiger senior Jestice Talley was named to the Big Dakota All-Conference Girls Basketball Team.
“Jestice is very deserving of this award,” said coach Lindsey Bachman. “She has always worked extremely hard and I’m really happy that she has been recognized for this. I think it was obvious that every time she stepped off the court, she left it all out there and as a coach, that’s all you can ask for.”
Talley, averaged 10 points per game in conference play, leading the Lady Tigers in scoring in five of seven conference games.
Talley is joined on the All-BDC team by: senior Tiara Flying Horse of McLaughlin; sophomores Reese Ganje and Markee Shaving of Cheyenne-Eagle Butte; junior Marveen Ross and sophomore Kaylee Wells of Crow Creek; junior Mady Handel of Chamberlain; junior Raven Cournoyer and freshman Caelyn Valandra-Prue of Todd County; and senior Madyson Frazier, junior Gabriel Kocer and sophomore Morgan Hammerbeck of Winner.
Named honorable mention were: freshman Trevonna Henry of McLaughlin; sophomore Haylee Langdeau of Crow Creek; senior Alayne Daly and junior Avany Long of Chamberlain; and senior Annie Keeter and sophomore VonnaGail Schlechter of Miller.
